In order to make sure that all New Jersey children get the best education possible, everyone needs to work together. Here are a few ways that businesses and community organizations can get involved:
- Join New Jersey United for Higher School Standards. New Jersey United is a statewide alliance of businesses, education, and non-profit organizations leveraging their strengths to help parents and educational stakeholders hold informed discussions about what students are expected to know and how they are tested. - Co-host a New Jersey United community meeting or education forum. Learn more by visiting our community meetings page.
- Sign up for New Jersey United's e-mail updates.
- Print out New Jersey United fact sheets and distribute to employees and community partners. Our fact sheets contain information, in English and Spanish, on standards, assessments, the No Child Left Behind Act, and more. These fact sheets are available by visiting the NJU Publications area of our site.

The Business Coalition for Educational Excellence (BCEE) at the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is committed to ensuring that all students achieve at high levels, become productive citizens, and are well-prepared to succeed in the workplace. The Web site also has information on BCEE program initiatives including Just for the Kids, National Board Support Network, New Jersey Scholars, School Counts, and Technology Challenge. www.bcee.org
School Counts is a program of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce that works to link academic performance and attendance with employment opportunities for high school students. www.schoolcounts.org
The mission of the New Jersey Association of Partners in Education is to develop and maintain an alliance of business/education partnerships programs, volunteer programs, organizations, associations and individuals. The goal of this organization is the establishment of a state network of partnerships that will improve the quality of New Jersey's schools and the academic and social development of students. www.njapie.org
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a multinational non-profit organization that aspires to transform culture, making science, math, engineering, and technology as cool for kids as sports are today.
