Antisemitism is at record highs in the United States and in New Jersey. The ADL reports a 344% increase in the last five years and that New Jersey ranks third in number of incidents nationwide. From hate speech on college campuses to targeted harassment and exclusion in local politics, it’s clear that antisemitism is no longer lurking at the edges of society—it’s being normalized in places it should never be.
Political leaders have a critical role to play in reversing the tide and making the Jewish community safe. New Jersey United (NJU) was founded in response to this urgent challenge and need to support candidates willing to be vocal and active against antisemitism and for Israel. NJSN is a nonpartisan, grassroots-driven organization committed to ensuring that voters know which candidates – of all parties – can be counted on to effectively confront antisemitism and lead with moral clarity in our state and locally.
Our mission is to empower voters, educate communities, and support candidates who reflect the values of inclusion, respect, and democracy for everyone by fighting antisemitism and supporting Israel. Through targeted voter education, research-based guidance, and the development of a statewide donor and activist network, we aim to build lasting political strength that protects Jewish communities and promotes accountability at all levels of government.
We believe the fight against antisemitism must be at all levels of New Jersey government. Whether it be city councils, school boards, the state legislature, and statewide offices, all political and policy leaders shape the tone and direction of our communities. They influence the policies that affect everyday lives and often serve as the launching point for future national leaders. That’s why NJSN focuses on all of New Jersey’s races– ensuring that voters are informed, candidates are vetted, and hate has no place in public service.
NJSN is not a PAC or super PAC. We’re powered by donations and a growing network of individuals committed to standing up, speaking out, and making a difference.
If you’re concerned about the normalization of antisemitism in our communities — and you’re ready to take action — you’re not alone. We invite you to work with us and donate, and be part of a movement that turns shared values into lasting impact.
Because silence is not an option. Not here. Not now.
